Hi everyone.
When I did the tutorial, at first I had the same results as Den, ie creating inline styles for the tables. I was able to make it perform as per the tutorial by going into Page Editor Options/CSS and changing Sizing, Positioning and Floating to CSS (classes).

Hi Jim
Did a bit of hand coding to get where I needed to be for the tutorial. The tutorial I found to be well presented, clear and easy to follow. You did make a couple of mistakes but I am glad you left them in, because we all make them, and it is nice to know how to get out of them. The tutorials are a great help Jim and I am sure that they are very time consuming, so thanks a lot for all the time you put in and of course a big thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Den |

Hi den, i will look into this but i do think it is the way the table defaults are set up.
But i am hoping this aside that you are able to follow the rest of the tutorial?

Hi Jim I cannot see anything unusual about the table properties or what to compare them to. border: 0; color: fff; Its a stumper but I can work a round that for now, the end result will be the same. Den |

OK i think i might have it.
Can you insert a table then right click it and select table properties. See how your set up compares with the tutorial set up please, i think they maybe different.
Thanks

Hi Den thank you for pointing this out. I am now guessing you are following along in The Jan preview we have or the new v2beta? This was build with v1 and but hopefully highlights a change for the good in the newer versions? I never did like the way it adds cellpadding and spacing. Anyway before i ramble on can you confirm if i am right?
Thanks
JIM |
