My original page was just using <a> tags since I had copied and pasted the html from a DWT. I also moved the Master Page into it's own folder. I've got a few things to fix up and it should work. Thanks for the help.

In a sub folder the page is sought in the subfolder. So either use absolute adresses or use the tilde. example
www.nameofsite.com/default.aspx

or use the tilde ~/default.aspx

HTH

JIM

Edited by jimd - 12 May 2009 at 12:12pm

How ever now I seem to have a problem linking to my pages in sub folders. My Master Page is in the root directory along with the default page and a few others. When I created a link to a page within a sub folder the links for the other pages seemed to change. They don't look different but my error message says it is looking in the sub folder for the file.

I looked through some other posts but only saw mention of putting master page in a master folder. Would that help resolve my subfolder issue?
