I just looked at the source code and have no idea what to grab and what to do with it after that. Sure hope you find time to do a tutorial for the slower people like me.

Okay, I just tested this in both EW3 and EW4. There does seem to be an issue with EW4. When I put my cursor in the left column div and selected the bulleted list icon it made the left column the

instead of creating a blank

inside of the left column. That explains how you had the miss placed closing tag.

I tried several ways to make this work and this is the best I came up with:

Click inside your left column in code view and type

your text

, save the page.

In design view click at the end of your text and then hit enter. EW will make another

. Type in your next list item and continue doing this until you have your entire list.

Now highlight that list and click on the bullet list icon. EW will change the

's to

's and add the bullets.

This is the hardest one, because you have to have a site that will respond to the 2nd css sheet which you will have to work with in your site. Every site is different and the css would have to built to your site.

If you google mobile web design, you can muck around and get an idea of what you need to do. Again every site is different and the css is not a cut and dried thing where you can just slap a couple of styles and its done.

It is the Internet equivalent of a vast team of salesmen in vans! - Except that you only pay them by results and they pay for their own vans! A 100% risk free online marketing technique.

It can increase your sales 10%, 50%, 100%, or even 500% depending on your product salability and the efforts you put on it.

Strictly speaking, an affiliate programme is a referral marketing system, where a commission is paid to the referrer (affiliate) after the referred site (merchant's site) visitor makes an action, such as signing up or making a purchase on the merchant's site.

So . . . . I (affiliate) have a busy web site. You (merchant) have an e-com website where you are selling your products /services online. You , install, integrate with your website, personalize it with your own software and commission settings, setup some links
and tell the prospective affiliates (like me) to join.

I sign up from your web site as your affiliate. I place your link on my site. The link contains my unique marker. When someone goes from my site to yours and buys your product, I get credited with the commission you have agreed to pay. I get credited even if the visitor who buys comes back to you months later and without going to your site directly from mine. You pay me once in a month or when it exceeds a threshold amount whichever is later.

A two tier affiliate programme additionally rewards the affiliate in the chain, if any, who had referred the immediate affiliate. And a three tier affiliate programme also reward the 3rd level affiliate.

In short,

1. You install the affiliate software and setup an affiliate programme at your website
2. You create different types ads/links promoting your products
3. An affiliate join your affiliate programme just filling a form
4. The affiliate publishes an ad on his website (or circulate an affiliate link through emails)
5. A website visitor (or an email recipient) get attracted with the ad, click it to reach your website
6. The visitor makes the purchase on his first or subsequent visits and make payment online
7. The affiliate gets credited a commission as agreed
8. At the end month, you pay an affiliate, if his total outstanding has exceeded a certain amount

An Affiliate System just automates the process. You just have to install, setup it and let it moving, just once.

It is a shame that you had to spoil a resonable post with a link to a pile of rubbish! Spam is not tolerated here.

Im now starting to think it might have something to do with the tutorial running Expression web 3 whilst im running 4...Guess i have to find a tutorial that runs .4 cause i dont have time to run into this kinda thing :(

I now tested to make a new site and the same problem occurs, the new site is simply a template created like the first step here :

Supposingly when you make a UL, you get a new bullet or li when you hit enter. i do not, it just breaks the row, this is the problem, i don't wana have to go into the code to make a simple list..

Im pretty sure somethings screwed up here but i dont understand why :S like i said, ive followed the tutorial completely from scratch, and this thing with the list is the only thing bothering me...

Like the last list, and like i make a bulleted list or and UL list and when i hit enter in design mode a new bullet does not appear as its supposed to, im guessing maybe theres some setting somewhere that wrong..

I'm not sure how much you've done since the other posts, but there is an extra tag in the code you posted. that one error could be throwing everything off. I highlighted it in red below.
